Capri's Sire:
Holme Park Vincent (Photo taken when he was 21) approved as a stallion in Canada 1994, with the second highest grading marks ever awarded by the Canadian Trakehner Horse grading commission.
Vincent's sire,
Holme Grove Solomon approved in 1991, later trained at Grand Prix level dressage, and in 1998 awarded the BHF Top British Bred Dressage Stallion (Solomon's Lifetime Achievements). Vincent's dam, Holme Grove Vabanque, sired by the legendary stallion 'Consul' was champion of her grading in England in 1988 and won Supreme Championship that year as well as in 1997. Consul, himself, has been rated as one of the World's Top Sires of all times out of all warmblood breed classes and one of Germany's most popular stallions.
Capri's Dam:
Holme Grove Cappuccino The ATA registrar gave this mare the designation of 'Model Mare'. which apparently is only given to approximately 2 - 3 % of the mares accepted into their main stud book. She received premium status with a mark of 57. In the words of the principal inspector, Mr. J.L. Thornton, she was "the best combination of size, quality and movement I've seen in a long time"; her trot, "one of the best I have ever seen". This mare's dam, Holme Grove Copelia, also scored an extremely rare "10" in her inspection as well.
